A five-storey office block close to London’s Trafalgar Square is to be converted into a 136-room hotel with restaurant and rooftop bar. 7-8 Martins Place in Charing Cross will be known as St Martins Place Hotel and will also house a retail offering in the basement and ground-floor levels as well as retaining an existing Post Office.

The conversion of the 1950s building, which adjoins the Grade II*-listed  St Martin’s Vicarage, Vestry and School, has been designed by EPR Architects.
