Cutting-edge infrastructure at the new airport terminal

The recent opening of Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal A marks a significant milestone in the city’s growth as a global hub. This terminal, one of the largest in the world, doubles the airport’s capacity, allowing it to handle up to 45 million passengers per year. Its cutting-edge facilities, including biometric touchpoints, advanced baggage handling systems, and a design inspired by Abu Dhabi’s natural landscapes, ensure a seamless and efficient experience for all visitors.

In addition to enhancing the passenger experience, Terminal A is also a testament to Abu Dhabi’s commitment to sustainability. The terminal features over 7,500 solar panels and a water-saving design, contributing to the city’s environmental goals while supporting its position as a leading destination for tourism, business, and entertainment.
