Historic Venue

The Old Library

The Old Library is a beautifully restored Victorian building, starting life as the Deritend Library and opening in 1866. Full of period features, including vaulted ceilings and iconic arch windows, this space will conduct a positive and warm atmosphere. The main space is light and airy, flooded with natural daylight and is sure to impress your delegates. This impressive space has stood the test of time and remains the only one of Birmingham’s five original free libraries still standing.

The main space is split into two by four grand archways. The larger of the two areas can comfortably hold up to 100 delegates in cabaret style seating. The smaller of the two areas is home to the bar, and is where your delegates can relax and grab refreshments throughout the day.

Arena Birmingham

Arena Birmingham is one of the busiest, large-scale indoor sporting and entertainment venues in the world and accommodates everything from music, sport and comedy, to family entertainment and live theatre. Each year, the venue hosts over 100 events and welcomes around 700,000 visitors through its doors. As a multi-purpose venue, it is extremely flexible and the Arena’s capacity can range from a maximum of 15,800 down to 2,464 for more intimate events.

The Arena has hosted more than 30 different sports in its history, including multiple global events such as the 2003 and 2018 IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championships, the Gymnastics World Cup Final, the Badminton World Championships, the Trampolining and Tumbling World Championships and the BMX World Championships.

NQ64 Birmingham

Located at The Custard Factory, NQ64 does exactly what it says on the tin. Riding that retro Nintendo wave, this quirky bar isn’t your average watering hole. Think industrial interiors with pops of purple, pink and neon.

The venue can host up to 300 guests who can choose from themed cocktails and craft beers before taking to arcade games from Playstation to Mega Drive. Try out their latest experience, Boozy Laser Quest for up to 60 guests.

The Eastside Rooms

Located centrally in Birmingham’s up and coming Knowledge Quarter, is Birmingham’s newest conference centre, The Eastside Rooms. Built with modern events in mind, the venue can host events both large and small, as well as everything in between, with effortless ease.

They have 23 fully flexible meeting rooms, masses of breakout space and a stunning main suite, the Affinity, a 880m2 space, which lends itself as the perfect location for conferences, banquets and even exhibitions.
